Hatching

I'm hatching a plan...for this blog.  Appropriate for the season, I know!
I want to write a series of posts, about my life history with different religions and sects, including the following:
  • Hare Krishna (Hinduism)
  • Quakerism
  • Catholicism
  • Judaism
  • Baha'i (Islam)
  • Paganism
  • Episcopalianism
  • Unitarianism
  • Heck, I might even discuss some of my brushes with Buddhism, just to round out all of the world's major religions.
While I believe I have all of these stories within me, I'm noodling about whether or how to structure these posts.  For example, do I want to answer specific questions for each religion/sect?

In preparation, I've been doing a little bit of research about "spiritual autobiography," and found advice like this:
"Consider events in your life that were formative to your beliefs. As a child, what were some significant "spiritual" experiences? Then think of yourself as an adolescent and remember the first time you might have believed something different from your family. Who were some significant role models for you? and why? As a young adult, where did you go for spiritual insight? What kind of peak experiences did you have or what kind of community were you seeking? Create an outline of events from the above that you want to explore from a spiritual perspective."
Or this:

"1. Describe the situation and your role. What went particularly well, with a minimum of effort? What special challenges did you overcome? What special talents did you use?"

"2. What values were met and which were being challenged or threatened?

"3. Describe the people involved and your relation to them. Who was there for you? What relations were deepened as a result of the experience? Which spiritual values were expressed and by whom?

"4. Finally, write about the gifts you received as a result of this experience. What were the rewards? Did you overcome a weakness or fear and how has the experience made a difference in your life?"
While interesting, I don't think that's the direction I want to take. This series of posts could be the foundation for writing a spiritual autobiography in the future, but it's not what I want to do now.
I'm thinking I might want to maybe give a general overview of my experiences and thought, then consider a few summary questions, like:  What did I take from the experience?  How does it influence me today?  What about the theology or practice resonated with me?  What was uncomfortable?  But I feel like I'm missing something, or just overlooking it.
So this post is a call for submissions from my readers (yes, all 18 of you). Is there anything you would like to know? Anything specific that you are curious about?

(If you want to be icked out, check out the Google image results for "hatching."  It's kind of a gross process, which...I guess is a spiritual lesson.)
